Say goodbye to a drab staycation this summer thanks to the major revamp of this English holiday park.
Ladram Bay, on the south coast of Devon, is a family-run business that has invested a whopping £2,000,000 in jazzing up its holiday homes in time for peak season.
In total, 17 lodges have received some pampering, as have the on-site facilities. There’s also a real element of luxury, thanks to the addition of private hot tubs and open-plan living spaces.
What’s more, you needn’t stress over finding a dogsitter because each accommodation permits up to three pets, meaning your furry friends can accompany you to the beach and beyond for some leisure.
In fact, a dog agility area has been added, ensuring your pooch has plenty of room to run wild on ramps and through jump hoops.

As for other amenities, preventing an ounce of boredom from creeping in, Ladram Bay has built extra children’s play spaces.
Your little ones can unleash their creative streak in the art studio, which is complete with a pottery kiln and paint galore. Oh, and there’s a lounge area for parents, too.
If your kids are the active kind, they can frolic around the pirate-ship-style playground or practise their swing on the Jurassic Adventure golf course.
And for those extra hot days when the water calls your name, take them paddling at the private beach, or equally, be a big kid with them at the outdoor splash zone.
Elsewhere, there’s a brand-new soft play area, complete with an arcade where families can compete in air hockey and kart racing.

The selection of retro games also offers some nostalgia for parents, who can remind the kids what growing up was like before the days of TikTok and iPads.
Ladram Bay comprises two sites. While the first is located on the coastline, the sister site, Castle Brake, is just five miles away inland.
As part of the upgrade, Castle Bistro has had a £500,000 refurbishment, making it the perfect venue for either a family meal or a cosy date night.
Speaking about breathing new life into the sites, Zoe House, Ladram Bay’s director, told The Sun: ‘As a family business, we understand how important it is to create precious memories.’
With her family having owned Ladram Bay since 1943 and Castle Brake since 2007, she added: ‘Holiday habits are changing, and staycations are ever more appealing as airfares increase.
‘Families want to trust they are getting a fantastic experience for every moment of their holiday before committing time and money to a trip away.’
While the new offerings will help create long-lasting memories for many visitors this summer, holidaymakers can also make the most of them throughout spring, as the updated sites open to visitors on March 7.
