PM Modi arrives in Bangkok to strengthen Indo-Thailand relations
Bangkok, April 3 (INS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bangkok on Thursday when Indian Diaspora welcomed him, who welcomed him with the enthusiastic slogans of “Modi Modi” and “Vande Mataram”.
After Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bangkok on Thursday, the Thai version of Ramayana saw 'Ramkian', a symbol of deep cultural relations between India and Thailand. When he arrived in the Southeast Asian country, he was welcomed by the Indian Diaspora, who welcomed him with the slogans of “Modi Modi” and “Vande Mataram”.
Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister Prasart Jantaruangtong and many other high officials welcomed PM Modi at the airport.
PM Modi is in Thailand to attend the sixth BIMSTEC Summit, where he will join the main areas of collaboration with regional leaders on April 4. They are also going to have bilateral negotiations with Thai leadership to strengthen India-Thailand relations.

After his arrival, the Prime Minister is about to communicate with members of the Indian Diaspora, emphasizing the deep cultural and economic relations between India and Thailand.

Earlier, in his departure statement, PM Modi said, “At the invitation of Prime Minister Petongtaran Shinawatra, I am leaving today to attend the official visit to Thailand and the sixth BIMSTEC Summit.”

The Prime Minister expressed his enthusiasm for communicating with BIMSTEC leaders, “I look forward to meeting the leaders of BIMSTEC countries and in a productive communication to strengthen our cooperation with the interests of our people.”
On his official programs in Thailand, PM Modi said, “During my visit, I will have the opportunity to communicate with Prime Minister Shinawatra and Thai leadership, which will have a normal desire to enhance our years -old historical relations, which is based on the co -ordinated culture, philosophy and spiritual thinking.”

As part of his two countries, PM Modi will go to Sri Lanka next. “From Thailand, I will visit Sri Lanka's two days from April 4-6. Last December [રણિલ] This will be the visit after Vikramsinghe's very successful visit to India. We will have the opportunity to review the progress made on the joint vision of 'encourage partnership for the shared future' and to give more guidance to fulfill our shared objectives, “he said.
Expressing optimism about his visits, the Prime Minister said, “I am confident that these visits will build on the foundations of the past and contribute to strengthening our close relationships for the benefit of our people and the wider field.”
India plays a key role in the Bay Bengal Initiative (BIMSTEC) for multi-regional technical and economic cooperation, which acts as the main motivator of regional integration and cooperation. PM Modi's presence at the summit is expected to enhance India's leadership in the structure, strengthening its commitment to collaboration and progress.
