Grants allocated to legislators per constituency increase by Rs 1 crore

The Chief Minister has also taken up the approach to accelerate Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi -inspired 'Catch the Rain' campaign by carrying out the works for the storage and accumulation of rainwater in their areas.
Sujalam Sufalam water campaign is organized every year in the state, with the intention of ensuring future water protection and high underground water level from rainwater storage.
To deepen the lakes under this campaign, DISAILING CHECADMOO, Canals and bronze repair and cleaning, Various works of water accumulation such as clay and rain water harvesting are done with public participation.
Following the success of this campaign, 1 in the last 3 years,1,Water storage capacity of up to 1 lakh cubic feet has increased and 1.5 lakh human days have been generated.
Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi has called on the countrymen this year for the “Catch the Rain” campaign for the collection and accumulation of water tip-tip.
The state legislators have also adopted a public -wide approach to the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel.
