To facilitate passengers, and especially during the summer season, Western Railway has decided to run a superfast Tejas Special Train on Special Fair between Mumbai Central and Rajkot.
According to the press release issued by Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Mr. Vineet Abhishek, the details of the Special Train are as follows:
Train No. 09005/09006 Mumbai Central – Rajkot Superfast Special [34 ફેરા]
Train No. 09005 Mumbai Central – Rajkot Special Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday night will depart from Mumbai Central and reach Rajkot at 11:45 pm the next day. The train will run from April 21 to May 28, 2025. Similarly, train number 09006 Rajkot – Mumbai Central Special Rate will depart from Rajkot at 18:30 pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and reach Mumbai Central at 07:30 am the next day. The train will run from April 22 to May 29, 2025.
On the way, the train will stay in both directions at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viragam, Surendranagar and Wakaner stations.
The train includes First AC, AC 2-Tire and AC 3-Tire coaches.
