The TransUnion CIBIL MSME Conclave underscores the importance of the MSME sector in contributing significantly to the growth of the country's Gross Domestic Product by generating employment, promoting regional development, bridging income gaps and encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship.

Its objective is to ensure stable growth of MSME credit portfolio while providing insights and deep understanding of data and analytical solutions to financial institutions lending to MSMEs across the country to facilitate access to credit to MSMEs.

The keynote address in this conference was given by Mr. Malav Desai, CEO of Ratnafin. Additionally, a special speech was delivered by Mr. Dhavhil Gandhi, Director, MAS Financial Services. Senior executives from banks and credit institutions in the region attended the conclave.

A commercial credit report includes detailed information on the MSME's credit history, including the nature and amount of loans obtained, repayment patterns and current financial obligations. It also provides information on any default or delay in payment. This report helps credit institutions assess credit risk by providing a clear picture of a company's credit behavior.

Sibil MSME ranks range from 10 to 1, with 1 being the best rank. It provides information such as credit history and loan repayment behavior of the business, including the MSME Credit Information Report, with just one statistic. This rank is currently only available to companies with a financial exposure of up to Rs 50 crore.

With a commitment to support credit institutions lending to MSMEs to make credit available to India, TransUnion CIBIL will organize this series of MSME Conclaves across India.
