Russia attacks Ukraine’s Kakhovka Dam, evacuates thousands

Currently, Ukraine has made a big allegation that Russia has attacked the Kakhovka Dam built here. In this attack, the dam has broken and a major disaster can occur.
Ukraine says the devastation has forced the evacuation of thousands of people and inundated many areas. Ukraine says that nuclear power plants will also be damaged due to this flood. The Interior Minister of Ukraine said today that the Kakhovka Dam built on the Dnieper River in the southern part of the country has been attacked.

The minister of Ukraine said that due to this attack, the dam has broken and the surrounding areas have started flooding. The Ministry of Home Affairs has asked the people of about 10 villages to leave their homes. In addition, a large number of people will have to flee their homes in nearby towns.
Earlier, the Ukrainian government said that if the dam breaks, 18 million cubic meters of water will be released. Due to which many surrounding areas including Kherson will be flooded. It will be a major disaster and thousands of people will have to leave their homes.
