New Delhi, Rishabh Pant, captain of Delhi Capitals, has been accused of cheating in the IPL. In this regard, Indian wicketkeeper Pant has filed a case against Haryana cricketer Mrink Singh for fraud of Rs 1.5 crore.
It is to be noted that Rishabh Pant has found this lime in the cycle of buying expensive watches at low prices. It was later learned that the accused was a mortal thief. He has been lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail this month. He has been jailed on charges of cheating Rs six lakh with a trader.
“In January 2021, Mrunak told me and my manager that he had started a business of expensive items like luxury watches, bags and jewelery,” says Rishabh Pant.
He mentioned several cricketers in front of me and said that all these people are his customers. He also falsely promised me Ray would give me branded watches at a lower price.
Relying on the rumors of the accused’s death, Rishabh Pant handed over some of his luxury watches, jewelery and other valuables to him in February 2021, the total value of which is said to be Rs 3 lakh 4 thousand.
Mrinak has not yet repaid the amount. Earlier this month, Mrinak was arrested by Juhu police on charges of fraud of Rs six lakh.
Rishabh Pant wanted to buy a Frank Mલરller Vanguard Yachting series watch from the player for which he was paid Rs 2.5 lakh. At the same time, Rs 2.5 lakh was also given for a watch of Richard Mill.
It may be mentioned that Rishabh Pant has recently been made the vice-captain of Team India for the T20 series against South Africa. He was the captain of Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League. His team could not get a place in the playoffs as they could not win the match against Mumbai. Ss2kp
