Lucknow, Aftab Ali, accused of sending banned, confidential and important information to Pakistan’s ISI, has been sentenced by ATS Special Judge Mohammad Ghazali to three years and six months in jail and a fine of Rs 500.
MK Singh, special counsel for the NIA, argued before the court that the ATS had learned that the Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI, had lured several people living here for intelligence in order to harm India. These are people whose relatives are in Pakistan.
Such people were lured into marriage on the basis of religion and lured by money. It was learned that Aftab Ali, a resident of Ayodhya, had sent the Army’s banned confidential and important information to the ISI with a fake name, mobile SIM at the address.
Aftab was also telling about the movement of army in Ayodhya and Lucknow, appointment of battalion, army regiment time going by train. In return, the ISI gave the accused money in his Vijaya bank account. The accused had pleaded guilty during the hearing of the case. The court then sentenced the accused to imprisonment and fine.SS3KP
