Mumbai, India’s star wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel has made up his mind to return to the cricket field after retirement. He will be seen participating in Legends League Cricket. Apart from Parthiv Patel, spinner Pragyan Ojha, all-rounder Ritinder Sodhi, and former Bengal fast bowler Ashok Dinda have also confirmed to play in it. The league’s next player is set to be part of the draft process.
It should be mentioned here that Parthiv Patel announced his retirement from cricket two years ago in 2020. Parthiv’s wicketkeeping is amazing. He made his Test debut for the Indian team in 2002 against England. He was only 17 at the time and became the youngest wicketkeeper batsman to make his Test debut for India.
Parthiv Patel has played 25 Tests and 38 ODIs for India. Parthiv has scored 934 runs in Tests and 736 runs in ODIs. Parthiv also participated in 2 T20 international matches. In the Test, he took 62 catches and 10 stumpings. Parthik played for several teams in the IPL. Which includes Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians. Now he has returned to the Legends Cricket League. Wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel decided to return to the cricket field after retirement.
Former Sri Lanka captain Thisara Perera has also joined the League of Legends. He is the captain of the Sri Lankan team in white ball cricket. On joining Legends League Cricket, Mitchell Johnson said that it will be great to be back on the field with LLC Season 2.
