In her video, Hannah Burrow (@hannahkburrow) demonstrated how to make the easy meal.
“I’ve lost over 175 pounds and this is one of my favorite crock pot meals,” the TikToker told her followers.
“It’s quick, easy, packed with protein, and low carb.”
For her first step, she recommended adding two or three chicken breasts to your crockpot.
“Mine were frozen when I put them in so if you’re using thawed, you can cut the cooking time by probably an hour or so,” Hannah explained.
Next, she added one cup of chicken broth, a cup of hot sauce or buffalo sauce, one packet of ranch seasoning, one onion, and two large diced carrots.
Hannah also suggested adding a stick of celery to the healthy recipe.
“Put in a teaspoon of dill, a teaspoon of garlic powder, and some salt and pepper,” she said.
“Cover and cook on high for four to five hours.”
Once the chicken was cooked through, Hannah shredded it up and added half a cup of chicken broth, a block of low-fat cream cheese, and three-quarter cups of Greek yogurt.
She explained that while the yogurt is optional it adds extra protein and makes the soup creamier.
“Then you’re going to put in a third cup of diced pickled jalapenos and a quarter cup of pickled jalapeno juice,” Hannah said, revealing that she used tamed peppers for the “perfect amount of spice.”
She left the soup to cook for a further 30 minutes to an hour, on a low setting.
Before serving, Hannah added blue cheese crumble to each bowl of soup.
“The soup is delicious and great for the next day too, it’s packed full of protein and flavor,” she concluded.
Hannah’s followers shared their thoughts on the soup in the comments section.
“Yum! Looks delicious, I have about 100-110 [pounds] to lose and I’m overwhelmed. These help. Thank you,” wrote one viewer.
“Yes, I will try this,” commented another impressed TikTok user.
