(Agencies)Washington, Cricket fans are eagerly waiting for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. This time T-20 World will be played in United States of America and West Indies from June 1 to June 29.

Apart from Monak Patel, many other players of Indian origin have made it. However, Unmukt Chand did not find a place in the team. India won the 2012 Under-19 World Cup under Chand's captaincy. Wicketkeeper batsman Smit Patel who is part of that team also did not get a chance.
Right-handed batsman Milind Kumar has also been included in the squad. Milind scored 1331 runs while representing Sikkim in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy season. After this he also represented Tripura. He also represented Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) and Royal Challengers Bangalore in India before making his US debut in 2021.
Former Mumbai left arm spinner Harmeet Singh has also got a place in the team. The 31-year-old Mumbai-born player represented India in the 2012 U-19 World Cup. He participated in domestic cricket for Rajasthan Royals and Tripura in 2013. Saurabh Netrawalkar, who played for India in the U-19 World Cup team, is also in the US team. He was part of the squad at the U-19 World Cup in 2010, which included KL Rahul, Jaydev Undkat and Mayank Agarwal.
Another familiar face in the squad is former New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson, who represented New Zealand in the 2014 and 2016 T20 World Cups along with the 2015 ODI World Cup. He moved to America in 2023 and made his debut for America in a T20 match against Canada last month. Pakistan-born fast bowler Ali Khan is also included in the team, who was included in their team by Kolkata Knight Riders in 2020. America will begin its campaign against Canada. They have been placed in Group Six along with India, Pakistan and Ireland.
