Mumbai, The clash between 'Singham Again' and 'Bhulbhulaiya 3' this Diwali has been in the news for the past few months. This is a clash between Manjulika's Bhulbhulaiya franchise on the one hand and Ajay Devgan and Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe on the other. The teams of both the films are trying many tricks for promotion.
Now finally efforts are being made by the producers and distributors of both the films to ensure that the film gets proper and sufficient shows. Advance booking of the film has started across India. Both the films are releasing on November 1. 'Bhulbhulaiya 3' has received 1790 shows so far and 28,454 tickets have been booked in advance.
So far the film has earned 72 lakhs. The shooting of Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again' has also started from Monday evening. Currently, the film has received 403 shows and only 2,293 tickets have been sold. So far this film has earned 7.7 lakhs.
Because Singham was booked only in few PVR inox and few single screens, while Karthik's horror comedy was booked in many single screens. In the way the shows of the film are allocated, 'Singham Again' has got 56 percent of the screens, while 'Bhulbhulaiya 3' has got the remaining 46 percent of the screens. However, as soon as the films are released, these figures will see a difference.
The clash between these films is also affecting advance bookings, as exhibitors and film distributors are still negotiating deals to get the films more shows and more screens. The makers hope to get as many screens and shows as possible by Thursday before the film releases on Friday.
But word of mouth will increase the publicity of the film which will be liked more by the audience, so the difference in figures will be evident after the coming weeks. After that it will be realized which film gets more screens and shows.SS1MS
