He also recalled that Shri Narendrabhai Modi visited Fiji for the first time in 2014 after assuming office as the Prime Minister.
Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel said that Gujarat has taken the lead in renewable energy and green hydrogen production., The world's largest hybrid renewable energy park is under construction in Kutch.
Not only that, Biomass also in agriculture sector, Gujarat has a waste to energy policy encouraging biogas and bio fuel.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji also said that in the context of sugarcane being produced on a large scale in Fiji, it can support Gujarat in ethanol production.
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel invited a high level delegation of Fiji to visit Gujarat to study and observe the achievements of Gujarat in various sectors as well as the policies that Gujarat has formulated for various industries and emerging sectors as a policy driven state.
In this context, the Chief Minister said that, Gujarat will provide its support in the sectors in which Fiji needs participation and guidance.
The Chief Minister expressed the hope that the high-level delegation's visit to Gujarat will establish a strong relationship of effective and fruitful partnership between India-Gujarat-Fiji.
He also added that, Gujarat has fulfilled Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi's vision 'Viksit Bharat @ In 2047, it is determined to be the leader from the developed Gujarat.
Gujarat developed for this purpose @ A road map of 2047 has been prepared and priority has been given to Ease of Doing Business along with Earning Well- Living Well.
He also informed the Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji that Giftcity has emerged as an international financial hub.
After the courtesy call with the Chief Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji will also visit Gift City and Amul-Anand.
