Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amitbhai Shah has said that, Blood donation per capita, eye donation, Gujarat is the first state in the country in the number of organ donation and charitable organizations. Gandhiji's tradition of service and philanthropy lives in the throats of Gujaratis.
The Union Minister said this on the occasion of the celebration of the entry into the 35th year of Gujarat Lok Seva Trust. On this occasion, the Minister applauded the service activities of this trust managed by Mr. Rohan Gupta and the mission of bringing government schemes to the people.
Shri Amitbhai Shah said in this regard that, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi Citizens Housing, Nowhere else in the world is there a scheme as large as the nationwide schemes for health and food-ration. All subsequent governments have done poverty alleviation and public welfare works, But after 2014, the speed and scale with which public welfare-oriented development works were done in the Modi government and the planned benefits that people got are unprecedented.
Housing for every poor middle class person, water, Gas connection, health protection, By providing ration, Modi government has brought 25 crore people above the poverty line in the last ten years, He added.
The Union Minister clarified the role of guiding principles of state policy enshrined in the Constitution at the core of a government committed to public welfare.
In this regard, he said that, The only objective the framers of the Constitution set for Rajshata 'The welfare state' is Government and social organizations have to work together to realize the welfare state.
The Union Minister added that, The goals of upliftment of the people of the welfare state are achieved only when charitable organizations like Gujarat Lok Seva Trust and social workers join hands with the government.
By doing other's work, Serving people True joy and self-satisfaction comes from helping others. Such a view was expressed by the Union Minister.
On this occasion he also mentioned the life events of Swami Vivekananda and Vinod Kambli, Also the poor of Lokseva Trust, He also appreciated the services for the elderly and the disabled.
Mr. Rohan Gupta, Trustee of Gujarat Lok Seva Sangathan said while addressing the occasion, Union Minister Shri Amitbhai's time management is commendable. Shri Amitbhai Shah has continuously applauded the spirit of public service and given all possible support in the service of humanity. He assured that the Trust will always support every eligible beneficiary of the Gandhinagar Parliamentary Constituency to benefit from the scheme of the Government.
On this occasion, the Union Minister Divyang Kalyan Swarojgari through Lokseva Foundation, Health, Aid was distributed to the beneficiaries by visiting the stalls set up with themes like sports.
