India's co-operative tradition dates back to ancient times, whose roots and culture are rooted in the economic system. The formation of the new Ministry of Cooperation under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi for the first time in the country after independence is a reflection of this. ICA The Global Convention has also taken some policy decisions to further accelerate this process. These include enabling policy and entrepreneurial eco-systems, strengthening cooperative identities, fostering purposeful leadership, establishing level playing field and shaping fair processes. I said in my presidential address at the closing ceremony of this conference A peaceful and bloodless revolution in the world is possible through cooperative structures.
