Ahmedabad, Time – Moving with technology has been the nature of the citizens of Gujarat, Gujarat ST Corporation Online Passenger Reservation System in Corporations of All States of India – OPRSA special achievement has been achieved by using the most, Gujarat ST Corporation is number one in India with more than 75 thousand online ticket bookings per day.
Clean to the citizens of Gujarat, The Prime Minister and the then Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi started the online passenger reservation system from the year 2010 with the aim of providing safe and timely travel facilities.
The facilities provided to the citizens for travel including online tickets are gradually increasing under the guidance of the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupendra Patel and the leadership of the Minister of Transport Mr. Harsh Sanghvi. As a result, more than 4 crore passengers booked tickets online in Gujarat in the last two years and paid the ST Corporation a total of Rs. 1,The list of Gujarat State Transport Corporation has stated that it has generated an income of more than 036 crores.
The list further states that, Online passenger reservation system was started in 2010 by ST Corporation considering the amenities of passengers., Thereafter passengers through Master Franchise agreement from 2011 onwards Abhibus, Online ST bus ticket booking can also be done through applications like Paytm. The corporation has also provided a separate option of disabled booking in the web-mobile application for disabled passengers to book easily.
After launching the online passenger reservation system, ST Nigam has enhanced the passenger facilities in phases., In which from the year-2015 Android and iOS Mobile Application (GSRTC Official) was launched. Passengers Mobile- Web Application www.gsrtc.in Reschedule-cancellation of tickets booked through PNR All the options are provided to easily know the status etc,
Through this application, passengers can book their travel tickets up to 60 days in advance and if there is any change in travel time, the facility of ticket rescheduling is provided by the corporation free of charge to the passengers., A booking facility has been provided by the Corporation so that passengers can take advantage of booking at places where there is no bus stand or booking counter of the Corporation., In which 205 booking agents are working at the corporation. It is further stated in the list of Gujarat State Transport Corporation.
