An investigation has been launched by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Jaipur, former Rajasthan minister and Congress leader Pratap Singh Khachariawas on the crime related to Rs 48,100 crore PACL scandal. The ED has conducted a raid on several places associated with them.
The Pacl (Pearls Agrotech Corporation Limited) scandal is one of the largest poses schemes in the country, in which millions of investors were cheated. According to the ED, there is a loss of assets worth around Rs 2,850 crore in the name of Khachariawas and his family.
Khachariawas has completely forbidden any corruption and stated that they would cooperate fully in the investigation. He accused the BJP government of abusing the central agencies for political revenge.
The political attitude has also been heated by the investigation against him. Congress leaders have questioned ED’s action and addressed it as “political vendetta”.
According to the election affidavit of 9, former Rajasthan Minister Pratap Singh Khacharia announced the total wealth of around 8.5 crore. These include movable assets of 9.5 crore and responsibilities of 9.5 crore.
On April 7, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided several places associated with Khachariawas in connection with the Pacl scandal of Rs. The investigation is related to alleged money laundering and property investments worth Rs.
Khachariawas has refused to do any wrongdoing and has prepared to collaborate with the officials. He has also accused the ruling party of abusing central agencies for political revenge.
