New Delhi, The Uttar Pradesh government has become tougher in view of the increasing cases of corona. Masks have been made mandatory in all the districts adjoining the NCR, including Lucknow.
The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday issued an order making it mandatory to wear masks in all districts of NCR including Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Baghpat and Lucknow.
The government said that some border states in the region were witnessing an increase in cases of covid. It also has influence in the district of NCR. The cases have been on the rise for the past few days, with 65 positive cases confirmed in Gautam Buddha Nagar, 20 in Ghaziabad and 10 in Lucknow in the last 24 hours.
The government said wearing masks in public places in NCR districts (Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapud, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Baghpat) and Lucknow has been made mandatory. People who have not been vaccinated are being vaccinated in these districts. The public address system is being used effectively.
