Shanghai, A major train accident has occurred in China. In China, a train derailed on the way home. The incident occurred in Guizhou Province. Where the bullet train was running at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour, two coaches of this train derailed. The driver was killed on the spot and three passengers were injured in the accident.
The incident was reported by China’s local media outlet Global Times in a tweet on Saturday. According to the bullet train was running from the southwestern province of Guiyang in China to the southern province of Guangzhou. At 10.30am on Saturday, a train derailed at a station in Guizhou, killing the driver on the spot.
According to the information received, the seventh and eighth coaches of the train derailed just when the train reached the entrance of Uzai Tunnel.
Earlier, a similar train derailed in central China’s Hunan province. During the incident, a railway policeman was killed and eight others were seriously injured while 12 others sustained minor injuries.
Even then, the cause of the accident was incessant rains and landslides. On May 17, China Railways announced that the operating speed of the high-speed railway connecting Beijing with the southern Chinese province of Guangdong would be increased to 20 kilometers per hour. According to Chinese Railways, it will become the fifth high-speed train in China to run at such a high speed.
Importantly, increasing the speed of the bullet train reduces travel time, but there is something to be learned from such incidents as well. After increasing the speed, the transport time from Beijing to Wuhan will be reduced to 3 hours and 5 minutes, which will reduce the journey by about 1.50 km. SS2KP
