New Delhi, Cyclone Biparjaya is no longer over Gujarat, but Cyclone Biparjaya caused torrential rains and strong winds across the state. Now rain has been predicted by IMD. According to which there is a possibility of rain in the eastern and northern parts and regular rain is predicted in late June to July.
Till now, it was predicted that this year’s monsoon will be sluggish. As per the current forecast, there will be a bang entry of Monsoon in India. Parts of eastern and northern India facing scorching heat are likely to receive rain. According to meteorologists, the rains may start in late June and early July and rains may fall regularly in different parts of the country. More than normal rainfall is likely over western, central and eastern parts.
According to IMD Director General Mrityanjaya Mohapatra, Monsoon may advance over some parts of East and North India by June 21, due to which rain is likely.
Cyclone Biparjaya lashed parts of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Due to the lack of a weather system over the Bay of Bengal and the impact of a severe storm on the Southwest Monsoon, the monsoon remained calm till 11 May. Namely, due to Biparajay, rains were predicted towards North East and Middle East. Heavy rains were reported in Rajasthan due to Cyclone Biparjaya. Now Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh may experience heavy rains.
This year, the monsoon was scheduled to enter on June 8, a week later than usual. According to some meteorologists, the monsoon has been delayed due to the storm and a milder monsoon has arrived. So far, some parts of Northeast, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh have received rain.SS1MS
