G.S.A.F. Honoring AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey – Mr. Chaubey thanked Mr. Parimal Nathwani for nominating him from Gujarat.
AHMEDABAD: Gujarat State Football Association (GSFA) felicitated the newly elected President of All India Football Federation (AIFF) Shri Kalyan Chaubey at Ahmedabad today. Honorary Treasurer of AIFF Mr. Kipa Ajayi on this occasion
and GSFA President Mr. Parimal Nathwani along with GSFA office bearers and GSFA. The presidents of the affiliated District Football Associations were present. Incidentally, the A.I.F.F. The nomination of Mr. Kalyan Chaubey as President was proposed by GSFA.
In his address, Mr. Kalyan Chaubey expressed his gratitude to Mr. Parimal Nathwani and GSFA for nominating him from Gujarat for the AIFF presidential election. “For the first time in the 85-year history of AIFF, a person who played football has been elected as the president.
This became possible only when Mr. Parimal Nathwani gave me an opportunity to serve Indian football by nominating me from Gujarat,” said Mr. Chaubey.
He also reiterated his commitment to the development of football in India and to take Indian football to a higher level. He also said that “We have prepared a roadmap for the development of football in India. We will reach out to students in about 18,000 schools with football grounds and prepare a cohort of about 18 lakh students,
Who will learn the basic skills of football. From these students we will get good players after five-ten years who can represent India at the international level.” He said that till now India used to only participate in games, but now India will participate to win.
Mr. Kalyan Chaubey also said that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah are also committed to the development of football in India and they want India to progress in the sport when India has gained accolades in science, technology and other fields.
GSFA General Secretary Shri Moolarajsinh Chudasma has been appointed as the Chairman of the Committee for Talent Scouting and Development of Football at Grassroots level in AIFF.
Besides GSFA Vice President Mr. Jignesh Patil has been made the Chairman of Beach Soccer Committee of AIFF and GSFA Treasurer Mr. Mayank Buch has been appointed as AIFF. .F. has been appointed as a member of the Finance Committee.
GSFA Vice President Mr. Hanif Jinwala, GSFA Vice President Mr. Jignesh Patil, GSFA Past President Mr. Hardevsinh Jadeja, Kerala State Football Association General Secretary Mr. Anil Prabhakaran, President of Haryana Football Association Mr. Suraj Pal ‘Amu’ and other dignitaries were present.
GSFA Mr. Kalyan Chaubey and Mr. Kipa were felicitated by the various District Football Associations affiliated with. GSFA General Secretary Shri Moolaraj Singh Chudasma conducted the program while GSFA Treasurer Shri Mayank Buch delivered the vote of thanks.
