Mumbai, Mrs Nita Ambani aims to preserve art and culture for future generations and as part of this, Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center has organized a special program called ‘NMACC Bachpan’ for children. It will be a special presentation for children aged 2 to 14 years.
As children grow up, they are constantly learning something new and their creativity flourishes. This is the focus of ‘NMACC Bachpan’. Children enjoy and interact with each other during these developmental years
And they will be encouraged to learn something about the culture. Also, this program is an attempt to make the parents also witness the process of their children’s development. Mrs. Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of NMACC has said that a special ‘NMACC Bachpan’ festival for children has been organized for 11 days. Special programs including unique shows, creativity workshops will be held on these days. Through it children will get entertainment as well as inspiration. This festival is multifaceted. Children and their families are specially invited to ‘NMACC Bachpan’ so that the subject of art and culture also gives joy to children and becomes a part of their lives.
‘NMACC Bachpan’ will start on 20th July. Children of 2 to 14 years can participate in it. Held at Studio Theatre, The Cube and Center and public spaces, the festival will introduce children to arts and culture through a range of activities.
The festival will be celebrated with programs such as famous short stories of India, live science shows, jamming sessions, special performances combining dance and circus, entertaining regional plays, fun dances, fun and playful artistic activities, tech workshops, etc.
The Grand Theater will host art performances with the aim of instilling a lifelong passion for the arts in children. The program, titled ‘Fableb Show’, will host a science robot named ‘Chip’ and will create a unique atmosphere of India’s acclaimed short stories. The show will also feature a dramatic rendition of Rabindranath Tagore’s story ‘Kabuliwala’.
Swadesh performances will also be covered in a special presentation that can be exchanged with each other. ‘Little Swadesh Kilkari’ edition will be launched in it. The launch will be held in a specially constructed arts and crafts zone.
Apart from introducing the activity of making puppets, children will also be taught the activity of making toys through embroidery. Traditional games from different parts of India will also be shown to children, so that children are introduced to Indian traditions through ‘Little Swadeshi Kilkari’.
‘NMACC Bachpan’ will have various programs like theatre, workshops, handicrafts, etc. This experience will prove to be very useful for future events at this cultural centre.
