Banijay Asia and Sera collaborate for a latest format show depicting the journey to send an Indian into space on Blue Origin's New Shepherd rocket.
Mumbai, Banijay Asia, part of the world's largest independent content producer Banijay Entertainment, has announced its collaboration with the Space Exploration and Research Agency (SERA) to create a new format show to showcase the country-wide quest of an ordinary Indian citizen on a field trip to the futuristic Blue Origin New Shepherd mission.
The chosen ones will participate in various challenges that will test their courage and readiness for space travel and this format drama, There will be moments of despair and joy. The final winner of the show will get a chance to become one of the first Indian citizens to travel in space. The announcement follows CERA's recent announcement of India as a Partner Nation for its Human Spacelight Program with the aim of providing an opportunity to citizens of countries that have not traveled to space or have few astronauts. Serra's mission is to make space travel accessible by opening opportunities for ordinary citizens to experience the thrill of space exploration.

Serra's spaceflight program will offer six seats to citizens of the world on a future mission of Blue Origin's reusable suborbital rocket New Shepherd. Under this mission, the selected astronauts will have an 11-minute journey to the Karman Line (100 km), an internationally recognized border of space.
