Jio True 5G Powered Wi-Fi Goes Live – Densely populated areas across India can experience this Wi-Fi service – Jio True 5G expands to Chennai after Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi
MUMBAI, To provide 5G facilities to all users, Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Jio) today announced that it will make Jio True 5G-powered in high-traffic areas such as educational institutions, religious places, railway stations, bus stands, commercial hubs and others. Introducing Wi-Fi services.
This Jio True5G service has been launched in addition to the recently launched Jio Welcome offer in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Varanasi. Jio’s team is working round the clock to make this service live in other cities and increase the availability of true 5G-ready handsets.
Launching with Jio True5G Services Jio has launched Jio True5G powered Wi-Fi services in Nathdwara, Rajasthan from today.
Jio users can get this service free of charge during the Jio welcome offer period, non-Jio customers can also try the service before shifting to Jio to get full and unlimited service experience. This is yet another embodiment of Jio’s ‘We Care’ philosophy embedded in its core principles.

As mentioned earlier, 5G service may not be for special people or people living in big cities. It should be made available to every citizen, every household and every business. This is a step towards enabling every citizen of India with this service with Jio True5G.
Today we launched the first True5G-enabled Wi-Fi service at the Srinathji Bhagwan Temple and the Holy City of Nathdwara. Along with this we will launch this service in many more such places and give them an opportunity to try our services. Also, we welcome Chennai as one more city to be included in the Jio True5G Welcome Offer.”
Jio True5G will expand to more cities as promised during the recent launch and Chennai is the latest city to be included in the Jio Welcome offer. Invited Jio users in Chennai will be able to access unlimited 5G data up to one Gbps and experience JioTrue5G.
