V has launched 300 new format ‘V Shops’ to expand its retail operations at sub-district level in various cities in V Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal and West Uttar Pradesh. V plans to increase its local presence and expand its retail operations in more rural markets in the next few months to deepen engagement with mobile users and expand local operations.
Vee customers in Indapur in Maharashtra, Hapur in West Uttar Pradesh, Basirhat in West Bengal, Usilampatti in Tamil Nadu, Payyoli in Kerala and hundreds of other such cities will now get fast, efficient, direct service from Vee, along with exclusive products and offers for advanced mobile users.
The concept of V Shops for Tier 3 cities aims to provide a uniform V experience to local customers, providing quick support and guidance. The new format stores are consistent with the modern design signature aspects that define existing V stores in urban locations. V Shops will offer a variety of Pay Prepaid products and services and enable less tech savvy users to take advantage of all V services, leading to a better customer experience and deeper engagement.
Through this format V also intends to increase connectivity with rural consumers along with Teleco++’s wider offering. For this the company has tied up with experts in various fields like Jobs and Skilling, Government Exam Preparation, English Language Proficiency.
