Ahmedabad, April 7, 2023: Adani Wilmar Limited (AWL), one of India’s largest packaged food FMCG companies, has been awarded the ‘Great Place to Work’ (GPTW) certificate for the sixth consecutive year. The company has been awarded for building a healthy and inclusive work culture due to its effective HR initiatives and significant policies. The certificate is awarded based on a survey conducted by global management research and consulting firm Great Place to Work.
GPTW helps companies through research and analysis to grow their business and thereby become a great place to work. The evaluation process for this is intensively documented, taking into account the procedures and policies followed by the company and the actual response of the employees during the survey.
In this survey, Adani Wilmar has been at the forefront due to various HR policies adopted by it. Various initiatives are taken to improve employees’ retention rate, continuous learning, their well-being and create a productive workplace.
Initiatives like ‘Pappa Mommi Ki Office Office’ and ‘Family Fiesta’ have encouraged employees and their families to bond with each other. Also, cultural diversity and traditions have been embraced due to the celebration of various festivals.
The company has organized Avanwa wellness sessions, corporate fitness challenges and sports tournaments etc. to promote the physical and mental well-being of its employees. Several training programs were also conducted continuously during the year to enhance the efficiency of the employees.
