Considering the growth in the business, the management has plans to expand the business by hiring a cold storage facility and setting up a Fruits and Spices Processing Unit at MIDC, Navi Mumbai. It has plans for a FASSAI approved spice processing unit with automatic grinding, separation and packing facility.
There will be products like turmeric, coriander, cumin, chili powder and other types of spice powder. With an additional working capital of around Rs. 1,000 lakhs will be invested. It plans to have its own e-commerce portal for Bitubi and Bitusi along with its own distribution network with cold chain for national level operations.
It plans to become a supply chain partner to provide services to companies like Reliance, Big Basket, Godrej Fresh, More, Amazon under its own brand name for fruits, masala powder.
The company has tied up with Vietnam and Turkey based companies to procure fresh fruits for long term. It is also planning to do long-term business in a joint venture with a Vietnamese company. It has built up regular customers in India to provide regular supply to wholesale markets, retail stores, hotels, restaurant chains and online distributors of fresh fruits.
